Hi jack, sorry about the delay. The Eillisco was the wrong name. A newly acquainted farmer told me that he had two lubsters that have been around the farm for over70 years that he remembered. After he saw my new "filling station" He said he would dig them out, and he thought the name on them was Eillisco. we found out they were Tokheim. They are 60 gallon each. They pump with the open gear system. Am I happy? very much indeed. I haven't been into this kind of collecting a long time, and must say that I haven't seen this type before. Les Warner

That style of oil dispenser dates from about 1920. See page 273 of my Gas Pump Identification book, four are pictured there. If you are interested in sales literature, ads, or a service manual, just let me know the Model number and I will let you know what I have. If any of you out there still don't have a copy of the book, well they are out of print (10,000 sold), but I understand Vic's still has a few copies. I'm working on a revision, will let you know how it is coming along soon. Ellisco made/ make test measures for calibrating
gasoline pumps......if it has a small glass
guage at the neck it is a TEST MEASURE.
The common size for pumps were 5 gallon measures.
These measures are in cubic inch
increments and when you show 5 gallons on computer the meter should fill the measure to 0...which will be 5 gallons.
Weights and Measures will only let you be off about 3 cubic inches on a 5 gallon check.
That is a few tablespoons of gas. Gasoline meters are some of the most accurate fluid measuring devices there are in use.

Yes, the pump looks the same. the brass tag has Tokheim oil,and tank Co.Ft Wayne Ind. serial no. 14700, and the other one is 14688. The tanks are round. Every thing is complete, even the wooden knobs are in good shape. If I could figure out how to send a pictue I would. The tag below has 1/4 1/2,and I for measureing. Les Warner
