Ranchpump sent in this question and image:
"I have a new question for the group. Signage on a Texaco visible pump.
Image: The picture shows the skins from my Wayne Boyle-Dayton cut 83 pump. You can see the round Texaco logos. My question is what did the rectangular signs (about 4 by 13 inches, just below the access door hole on one skin and near the top of the other skin) originally say?



Could they have been the "Contains Lead" signs?

Those skins look to be in a lot better shape than mine!

The signs in question look to be about the same size as the

"Price includes 6 1/2c Taxes
Per Gallon"

decals that are still readable on one of my skins...
