Jim Potts has created a super site for all us gas geeks to visit, share stories, post pictures, get advice and otherwise shoot the **** ... I began a few weeks ago sending individual emails to several gas geeks to help surprise Jim Potts with a thank you from all us gas geeks. We have pledges (make sure and send the $$ guys wink wink) to buy Jim this sign:  For those of you that don't know Jim works at a Buick Auto Body shop and likes neon signs and Automotive Painting advertising. I want to thank all of you who contributed to the sign. Scott

Is this for real? That looks like the sign I saw at Earl Cheese's place. He said it was for sale, but I had committed most of the money I had with me to a deal later that weekend. I have to say I later regretted not getting that sign. It looks really sweet when it is lit up.
You guys are too much. Just knowing so many of you enjoy and appreciate what we have here on Oldgas is enough for me. We have many people who spend a lot of time and energy answering questions on Shop Talk, coordinating features on Showcase, sending in pictures of their stuff and cool things they see and building community in other ways. My thanks to all who help in some way to make this community work and to those who are participating in this Buick neon sign surprise.
