Anyone want to take a guess what this is? I know because it was in a group of others. It may be very common but I thought it was neat as its definitely my smallest piece. [img:center] [/img]

I'm guessing it attaches to a pen or pencil. Richard

Yes, they are golf ball markers. You place that on the green to mark the position of a ball to be lifted.
Common item and is usually found along with wooden golf ball tees.
I have several complete sets of Texaco ball markers, tees and divot tool for removing tees.

I figured you guys would know. Yes, its a golf ball marker and yes I found it in a jar of old tees that had belonged to my late Father-In-Law. Its got a 1/4" stud on the back. I wonder if many petroleum companies had them?
