In a conversation I once had with Bob Lee years ago, The Bowser "Red Sentry came out about 1911. It's also referred to as a Model or Cut 241. Ed Shaver

Dustin, there are no decals as such for the Red Sentry. All of the type were cast into the doors of the dispenser. The only decal that I ever re call was a "National Trails " sign I have seen on a few of them . I would contact Jim at T- way Graphics and see if he knows of a source . Perhaps our resident expert Dick Bennett may also know some one too! Ed Shaver

thanks for the info. i did alot of work to it this weekend and painted it and looks get i painted around the bowser decal and the red sentry, i dont want to take those off until i find some decals. it was worth i think in the 400 dollar range gut it looks like it should be worth more then that now. I also left the name plates alone to but wanting to know of a way to get paint off of the plate without taking the name off.

Both the sheet metal & cast 241's used decals for the BOWSER & RED SENTRY markings as Dustin has shown. The inside Brass plate is a very lite etching & will look much better restored w/ a Black background.
Dustin, take some excellent pictures of decals to your local sign shop & have them make replacements. Some BOWSER decals I have seen look like a Gold Leaf paint w/ Black outlines.

I wonder, what that mannequin did or didn't do, to get his hand taped to the pump handle? kinda gives new meaning to the term keep your fingers off of my pump.
