there is an original version of this & there is a very close 2 sided repo version also 7 same size...i would have to dig my original out to see the difference, but if i remeber right the original is marked at the bottom...

this sign came from the auction in west union oh. along with all of the other items this seller is selling. there were repos mixed in at this auction, but i do not know if this sign is real or repo?? this auction is listed under petrolina news. chris

I feel the seller has three signs that are repo. Pennzoil, Sunray, and the Chevrolet.

I looked at all 3 at the auction and would agree with IBUYSIGNS. There was a refiners ethyl pump plate sold as well at that auction that was also a repop.

In absence of all else, common sense tells me to be wary of the SunRay. How do you get that much cancer on the backside and the condition of the front side be as it is? Again, the back side of the Chevrolet sign raises a warning flag to me. I haven't seen nearly the number of signs most of you have, but I've never seen a mess like that on a porcelain back. The Pennzoil just looks fishy from the start to me. Again, these are the meanderings of an amateur.
