My sister and I have two Shell Oil gas globes that are white milk glass but slightly different in color. Both have SHELL embossed on them. One is nearly perfect and has Made in the USA on it. The 2nd one does NOT have Made in the USA and has two or three small defects. Our brother is 58 years old and is Down Syndrome. He recently broke both hips during a gran mal seizure and we are only selling these to raise money for his care. He has lived with me for 9 years and have liited income. Only seriously interested parties need respond. We live in Garland, TX. You can contact me via e-mail at sandralaldrich@aol.com if you want pictures. Thank you and God bless!

Good morning. Sorry I am just checking posts, been a little busy around here with Johnny. The price is $350.00 plus shipping which I have been told is $45.00 to $75.00 depending on how well it is packed and delivery service used. Thank you for contacting us. Let me know what you think.
God bless,
Sandra

Two SHELL milk glass clam shaped globes all white with SHELL on them. Made between 1925 and 1957. We are raising funds for our brother Johnny who is 58 years young, has Down Syndrome and recently broke both hips during a seizure, otherwise we would not be selling these. He has been in the hospital or rehab for 2 1/2 months and just came home on 6-7-12. He is wheel chair dependent as he cannot stand or walk. We thank you in advance for any interest you might have. One has 2 or 3 defects and does NOT gave Made in USA. The other one is near perfect condition and has MADE IN USA on the base. I have more detailed pictures if you are interested. Shipping will be approximately $45.00 to $75.00 depending on shipper/method used. Asking $400.00 or best offer for globe with small defects and $550.00 or best offer on other one that says MADE IN USA. Contact me at sandralaldrich@aol.com if you have questions or need more pictures. We are located in Garland, Texas.

A little confusion??
You have them posted for $400 and $550 in your initial description?
You should probably clarify it for potential buyers.

This is what is in the posted above; "Asking $400.00 or best offer for globe with small defects and $550.00 or best offer on other one that says MADE IN USA."

She is willing to take a best offer of $350.00 for the $400 globe.

Or at least that is my understanding of what is stated in her posts.

We would like to get $400.00 plus shipping for the globe with the defects.
We would like to get $550.00 plus shipping for the globe that is in better condition and says Made in te USA on it.
We will also consider offers from serious buyers. I know that not having the RED painted letters could bring the value down, but if someone is using for lighting purposes like our Dad did they are perfect for that.
