The pump is like a stove pipe on top with a fold in handle, pre visable type. The numbers on the brass tag are > J5879 and 102A. Im not sure how the top would stay up. It will lift up, but not stay up. Need pictures of it if you have them that show that. Any others will be greatly appreciated..

The 102A, has a sping [like a tape measure] inside the tower, to hold it up. Yours might be broken, or rusted.
Remove the upper tube to expose the mech., use lots of WD-40. Hopefully you can get it working AGAIN.

We know you need pictures of the pump, but we also need pictures of the pump so you know what you are talking about.
