I joined the forum about two months ago but only now have I gotten around to writing an introduction. I am relatively new to collecting. I have bought and sold antiques for a while now and only recently did I realize how much I despise selling the oil cans and oil company signs that come into my possession. I am still in college so I have to be careful about what I decide to keep and what I have to sell, but I hope that with some patience I will be able to put together a respectable collection. So far I have half a dozen one quart and a few two gallon cans - not much, but a start. Anyway, I am here to learn and hopefully I can pick up a thing or two from people who really know what they are talking about.
