Hello All,
I'm doing things a little backwards, I have the Sky Chief visable PPP and am looking to purchase a pump to put it on ( my first one !!)I have the opportunity to get the pump pictured (Wayne Visable but I don't know model ?) and am wondering if my PPP is "OK" for this pump ? right time period etc. or if not would it still be "cool" to do so? Not going to be a restore project, probably just clean it a little and add my PPP and a old looking globe. Should the holes to mount PPP be present or need to be drilled ? Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated !! Thanks Guys

The pump is a Wayne 615. That ppp plate would be fine.

I have a Chevron survivor Wayne 615 in very good condition and it sports a 1953 Sate of Oregon certification tag on it. Meaning it was pumping gas in 1953 at a Chevron gas station in Oregon.

Just to give you some dates. The Wayne 615 was manufactured from 1928 to 1941. Your porcelain pump plate is dated 1941.

To do that pump in Sky-Chief with that plate would be period and historically correct.

Thanks for advice and dates! I'm assuming because of the huge numbers of gas companies and different signs possibilities that the holes are not predrilled ? could anyone post a photo or two of a pump with a similar PPP so I can get idea of approx. placement please ? also any referrals to members or websites that deal in parts in case I need any ? Thanks again !
