IT HAS 4 WAYNE 60'S,AND I'M PRETTY SURE THAT I HAVE 2 OF THEM. SO DWAINE THAT'S WHY I'D LIKE TO GO WITH PARALAND.

Golden Gas,
Great old photo. I would go with the original brand too . It would be nice to give the lady a picture of your pump when it is done. After all, if not for her you would not have that pump today.I enjoyed all your pictures in showcase today. Keep up the great work!

Well my friend I'm happy for you, if you can find a local company and search for these old items more power to you, now you need to see how many local people in that area, still alive, can remember the station and might have some items for you, and tell the lady you intend to build a private museum and need help getting items, and that you need as much info on her Dad and fellow workers inorder to have a placque made for them, one you get the names have the placque made they don't cost that much. have fun.

Greg.... If I were you I'd still hold out for the Paraland pump..... if you can get a Paraland image off a map or something you can have decals made.... I did it for H. Earl Clack and the cost wasn't too bad... and there must be some globes floating around somewhere, but not too sure how spendy they are or maybe Pogo, Slama or some other outfit could eventually make some reproducions.... just a thought...

Well Greg, nothing comes easy,
1. put an add in the local paper.
2. check with all the local farmers .
3. in a circle of blocks from the station there must be some old gents still liveing that might have some stuff in the garages . hit all the garage sells in the area, and like Bob said, if you can get a good image of the globes and colors, I will help you try to get enough guys that might want the globes made. send me the images and I'll pass them on to Mike and see what I can do with other collectors. it might take some time. jlgas@caltel.com

Don't give up just yet! Paraland globes are available, but not common. I've seen at least six of them for sale this year alone.
You can have decals made like the others said. I'm sure that if you're a little patient you'll find what you need.
Good luck!

I think it would be much more rewarding to restore them to original, even if it does take a lot more time and work and a few reproduction parts. JMHO
