hey guys,i received this email from ebay on some pumps i listed today.read how it is written,sounds fishy to me.Plus my ph # is on the item yet he is asking for it.I looked up the user name (michael1132) and he just registered.If its a scam ,what is he trying to achieve?thanks for any opinions or help. It's wording closely resembles scams on ebay items that I've sold before. Beware.

It's a scam for sure most people can spell poster i mean postal.it's not a hard word to spell I be very cautious.

First off...DELETE THAT EMAIL!!! Move on and forget it.
Secondly... Good Luck on your auction. You have a bunch of awesome pumps & I hope that you get every penny that they are worth.. and that you deserve.

Hi- if you check the bidder history--michaell1132- comes up as not a registered bidder- bought 4 items All on June 6th buy it now- these scams are usurally overseas- will send Bogus bank check- usurally in excess of amount of item and ask for you to refund diff-- as suggested - DELETE email-thanks don

As others have suggested, that e-mail is worthy of deletion - unless you have nothing better to do, and want to see how well the Nigerians (or Romanians, or whatever...) can print a bogus cashier's check. I'd make him waste the postage myself, but I'm also easily amused.
