Took pictures of my Bennett faces before taking apart years ago. This set up with the clips seems like when I put the bezel on with the clips this way the clips keep the bezel from ever coming off again. In fact can't get the face off. Should they be positioned the other way facing in ? Anybody with any thoughts?

Does the lower Original panel fit correctly or did you replace w/ New panels? Frame rails might need adjusting a Smidge.

This is the way I believe it was. My problem is the clips catch on edge of the frame and can not be pulled out. If I push the clips in so that it does not touch, then what is the reason for the clips? I am using new reproduction pieces and they are the same, just do not see what the clips do at this point.

Alignment in-between the frames, no slop sideways. Try it w/o the clips or tweak them a hair.

They are too wide. Squeeze em a little bit.

If I squeeze them in then they do not touch anything and hold nothing. Seems that they should go opposite way so that it holds the face to the frame.

The clips are srtaight 90 to the bezels, the frames are pipe and the round end of the clip just barely touches the pipes to center the bezel, looking straight on from the front with out the bezel on the metal front trim lines up with the center line of the pipe. the clips dont hit the trim.
