I picked up a leather case (looks like possibly a cigarette case?) today at an automotive antique store. It's stitched brown leather with a snap flap. The flap has an embossed flower design on it, and the back has an embossed circular stamp that reads "The Boyle-Dayton Co." at the top with a 'BD' in the center, and 'Gasoline Pumps' below. It's pretty neat. I'm trying to figure it's era. I understand that Wayne Pumps bought B/D out in 1928. Did Wayne continue to market items under the B/D name, or would this item have been produced prior to 1928? Thanks for any insight on this...
