were you asking because of the one that got listed tonight? if so, I believed it to be the real mccoy... i spoke to the seller, he had it listed as an auction with no reserve but he also offered a buy it now for $2k after he was asked. was a good deal i think http://www.ebay.com/itm/271624930747

WHY? Why does this always happen on Oldgas? If you would have bought this sign there is NO WAY you would have posted a link to it. Just an FYI I bought the sign and they sold it for more money to someone on here because of this. Probably the Indiana guy again

Just an FYI I bought the sign and they sold it for more money to someone on here because of this. What in the world are you talking about? Everyone posts links to auctions, websites and other things, was he wrong for posting here for the rest of us to see?

wow... i missed some drama, lol.
here are the FACTS that I know:
-I saw it and talked to the seller right when it was posted, before there was anything on OldGas.
-Seller told me he would sell it as a buy-it-now for $2k. I told him that was a very attractive price and that it WOULD sell for that. I was not in a position to spend that amount of money so I told him I would pass.
-I checked it 10-minutes later and the listing had ended
-I got on here that night and saw the post & posted the link AFTER everything was done.
I never intended for this to be anything else but a discussion about the legitimacy of the sign, the potential value of it, & how a few of these have been surfacing lately.

bustermonty, I did pay for the sign, as soon as it was listed as a buy it now. Now my $2,000 refund is processing through Paypal for 3-5 business days. I sent you a PM please get a hold of me. Nashtime is my dad NOT ME, Look at who bought the sign.
