I have a lubester with a door to seal it from the weather. I am not sure the value or where it originally came from. I found it in a friends barn. It had a brand logo and lettering on the inside and door at one time but is now faded. Is this worth less than a normal lubester? Thanks for any input.

last one I saw had a tag on it... was made by Bowser.

i assumed they were simply another method or way of locking the lubester up rather than locking the handle.

they are not as common as the traditional lubester, the last one I saw was in much better condition and brought $120 - but I considered that a good buy. I'd say the one you posted is worth about $100... and a good condition one maybe $200.

Back in the day, and a few years before I came along my Dad was in the excavating business. He described a similar lubester to what you have except his had a compartment for a grease gun. Dad said his was made by Bowser. It was situated near the fuel tanks used to fuel the dump trucks and heavy equipment.
No idea on value.
