GermanPetroRookie....been through and to Kaiserslautern many times on my way to the John Deere Werke Zweibreucken where I did repair work on the JD combines in Zweibreuken, Germany. The old 1177's were being phased out and the new STS's were coming in. BUT now I'm told that the straw walkers will be built in Germany (the Komeraden hated the STS as 'American junk' anyway.
