The one on the left is new........I've pictured it with one of the familiar hand mirrors to show the small size. It's SST and the light color
is silver, which is difficult to photograph.
It has the familiar "circle & shield" SOCONY logo, but if you look closely you'll notice it says "SOSA" rather than "SONY" inside the circle
......and has "Standard Oil Co, (SA) Ltd" at the bottom of the shield.......SA meaning "South America". The sign came from a west
coast refinery and I think it was used when product was shipped to customers in South America. I don't recall
ever seeing this logo before on a sign or can.
