Just because it's a Pierce Pennant curb sign doesn't necessarily mean that it was a Pierce Station..... they might just have sold Pennant oil there. Like a Pennzoil, or Quaker State, or a Mobiloil curb sign out in front of a Texaco Station. It could have been a "no name" independent mom & pop retailer. Agree?
