Yes, I am using new hose. But, as you said, these pumps were made to work, not look good. If I cant get the hose to lay a little closer to the pump, so be it. It would be nice however if it were a little softer and didnt take up so much room. I am going to try and loosen the hose a bit at the pump and see if I can get the twist out of it.
