Hey guys, this is probably a dumb question but does anyone make the "stone guards" for a visible ? I really like the look and would like to do one on my newest B/D vis but have never seen them for sale ? probably easy enough to fabricate but was just curious ?
Does anyone have a door for a Bowser 555 ? I just picked one up and it had an Erie door wired to one side.....kind of a "plain jane" pump but it was free so what the heck, I'm gonna do something with it !
Lastly, I just finished my first restoration on a visible, a Boyle Dayton 89....turned out pretty good ! I would like to thank everyone for their help (you know who you are) and I will post pic's soon ! I really dont collect pumps but all of the sudden I have 5 or 6 waiting for some lovin ! very addicting.....this site rules ! Z

Just think how many ya would have IF ya COLLECTED THEM ! HA HA
Would probly be cheaper to have it rolled locally than to have shipped. Plus most will have to be sandblasted to remove paint/rust. Easier to paint NEW metal. db

I have a stone guard out of a B/D 83. You can have it if you ever get down south of Portland....I never use them.

archimedes, I'll check on Erie door....I found it in Jim's book but cant remember the model I'll post in the next day or so.
Very funny Dick ! it seems like I see them everywhere now....I just spotted another Tok 39 (tall) down the road behind a shed, probably have to stop and ask about it....I wish there was a clockface or two around here. Would like to find just one.....Your right on the guard, probably better to just fab one ! Thanks !
Petropumps, thanks ! dont get to Portland much.....except for the swap meet at expo, coming up soon ! cant wait !
Thanks for the posts ! Z
