I have this White Crown hanging globe. It is in good shape with no cracks or repairs. There might be very very minor chipping on the base & top but nothing out of the norm. I do not have a hanging sconce for the light. I am asking $175 obo + shipping. Or I can take to Hoosier Gas or Columbia MO if I go there. Thanks Brad smile

It was my understading that Standard gave these to their dealers in the 70's as a promotion. I have only seen the red crown. (I did find on on ebay two years ago and bought it.) Do you know if yours was orginally a white crown? I wonder if a gold crown exists?
I can send you a picture of the hanging sconce that came with the one I bought it helps you.

I'm pretty sure yours was made by Time Passages in the 80's-90's.
Originals I've seen do not have the flanged base.

DB, So the originals had a 7" screw on metal base? I've seen originals but I don't recall what the base looked like. I do know they came with an antique brass looking swag top AND a wooden base so they could be used as a desk lamp or hanging light. The originals I've seen were always painted red.

Bob,
Only the repo's have a flanged base.

There were also some repo's made with a 1/2" hole in the top to be used as a table lamp & shade.
