I am new on here and I live in London in the UK. What a great site this is.
I have just got hold of an old pump which turns out to be an Erie 80. There was this old ironmongery shop in my High Street that had been there years and it was shutting down. The pump was used to sell parafin but had not been used for many years. Turns out it was previously a Cleveland Petrol pump (Cleveland was a UK Petrol Company taken over by Shell). I am asking for help re spares on another part of the forum.
It still has its insides and the motor works. I had to use an engine crane to get it home. It will be my first (but not last) resto. I have sourced an original globe from an auction her in the UK.
