Recently bought a Gilbarco here in Holland. Just wanted to know what's the difference between a 906 and a 996
Thanks so far

Parts are interchangeable. Some 996 pumps have a pushbutton door release on the side. They also have one or two stainless strips across the front.Small face glass. 906 pumps usually have a V surrounding the site glass and a wider face glass. Base is a bit more scalloped.

906 is the later model of the two.

A farmer modified that for his use. Just remove it all the way up to the 90 under the hose outlet cover and it should be good.
Thanks, Phil _________________________________________________ Looking for any old pumps, or nice 5 gallon cans.

Phils right! Just take all that piping off and screw the end of the new hose directly into the fitting under the hose cover.

Thanks for the information. Does this mean that the red fitting is orginal ?? Because on picture below (just an example, not mine) I do see another opening where the hose disappears.
Also
Is there any way I can find out if my pump is a 906 or a 996
Thanks for all yr help
Billie

A lot of the foreign pumps have different cut/model numbers than what was made & used in the USA. Last picture posted has a hose re tractor inside the pump.
