Hello all, I couldn't find any info here on this..
I'm curious if it'd be possible (and easy?) to wire a solar pannel to a gas pump globe light? With a new low wattage CFL, would you be able to harness enuff energy during the day to get the bulb to light for an hour or 2 each night? let me know what you think??

It would depend on the size solar panel as well as amount of light the panel is exposed to during the day and battery size. We build and install automatic entry gates( some solar powered). You would also have to size your inverter to meet the bulb requirements or switch over to a DC bulb. Also you would have to consider power consumption the clock or sensor that would activate the bulb would require. We also use a voltage regulator to prevent over charging of the battery.
