I figure that Jack kind of got this going with his womens urinal picture, so I would ask the question of another gas station restroom fixture. Would this type of soap dispenser have been used in the restroom of a gas station? You would turn the crank and the soap granuals would be augered out onto your hands.It is marked Soapitor Co Inc New York City Patented March 29 1938. Wet hands first use little soap add plenty of water. I just thought it was pretty cool, anybody have an idea of value? Daryl

I remember using them.....
I don't see why they would not have been used in a gas station.
There was also a glass ball type on a forked pivot that turned upside down to dispense fluid soap.

I remember using one of those at a truckstop in Meridan,Mississippi back in 1987.I was with my little nephew and boy was he really intrigued by it.I couldn't pull him away,and that's saying alot as he was born with oil under his fingernails.
