Joe, Bought tickets no luck there! Repo Frame is for sale. steering wheel I think is out of a old boat. I have a old banjo wheel for it, I also bought a excellent set of doors and decklid recently just need to get them from the west coast yet. And snagged a 3 window dash which are diff. from 5 window or 2 doors from Tx. also last week.

Finally got my doors and decklid from CA. Met the guy Monday who picked them up for me only a hour away, as He was heading to Detroit worked out great! Drivers door looks like it could have came off this shell with the patina it has. I have learned the chassis was built '59-'61 with the chassis and motor parts it has so thats the time frame I will build. And sorry Jason will be keeping the 265 motor for now, that was the deal when my friend sold me the chassis to keep it as is, even though this block is cracked I have a Vette 265 block lined up, will also be putting a period correct multi carb setup on it.

Still collecting parts. Slow going as I am trying to throw some period correct rare parts on it. I did find this one off 4x2 setup. Story on this is a machinist guy from Detroit in the early 60's developed this setup and wanted to manufacture them but apparently never happened, Has his tag riveted to intake and I also got a few pics. from back then with it. Linkage setup is unreal on it. Also looking for Stewart Warner gauges like this one Tach, water, oil or? with the winged logo.

Still picking away. Finally got my motor awhile back, after 6 months and 2 machine shops, after I threatend to pull it out of the 2'nd shop He amazingly got it done in a week guess He wanted my $ after all. Can't believe in this economy busnisses still jerk you around and these are 2 of the better shops.I pretty much left the car sit in the corner not working on it because I was so p***** at the motor guys. But I was still collecting parts. So its back out and gotta get it done.Did get the hood and decklid louvered 255 in all.

Got the rearend apart has a bad axle and a couple bad bearings also got another original rear panel welded in under the deck lid just have to lead it in yet and patina it.

Got this original seat from another oldgasser along with a dash tunnel with gauges last year. Thanks again!!!!! call me when you get more stuff. I have a buddy that restores old boats and he has a 1936 boat with some perfect patina seats in right now that the owner wants new so I hope to get the material off those to use on my seat.
