anybody ever make their pump into a drink dispenser?
Like put a keg in it, run a smaller hose through the new pump hose and somehow rig the nozzle into an on/off dispenser?.
somebody has had to do this at one point...

I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THIS ALOT ,, BUT I HAVE YET TO DO IT.. I WANT TO RUN MULTIPLE SMALL HOSES THROUGH THE BIG HOSE LIKE AT A BAR WHERE THEY CAN GIVE YOU SEVERAL DIFFERENT THINGS ALL BY PUSHING A DIFFERENT BUTTON... IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE LIQUOR EITHER,,[ THAT STUFF WILL KEEP WITHOUT REFRIGERATION...] BUT HECK YEAH!!!!! IT,S A GREAT IDEA!!!!!!! GET-R-DONE!!!!!!

I've done what you all are talking about only in reverse. I'm so addicted to the hobby that I drink the real stuff that comes out of the nozzle. A little cup of premium unleaded to start the day. Around mid day when I get a little sluggish, bam, I down a glass of regular. About time to hit the hay, nothing sends me off to sleepy time like a few shots of kerosene. Yep, that's how we do it in the midwest boys. No rodeo pop like you guys on the left coast, make ours the real stuff.

Like Tbone, I have thought about this a lot. My old professor caught me using the school's paintbooth for my own project one day and said (remember I'm in college) "What, you making a gas pump into a kegerator?"
I told him that the possibility of it is likely, but I need to get the equipment all worked out. I figured a scheme that would work pretty well, but it's best to keep a kegerator seperate from the pump for cooling purposes.
Man, I've thought of gas pump fountains, gas pump air supply units -- like for filling tires (this WILL happen), and other crazy stuff.
Do you intend to do this, nbkz7w8? Any specific questions, just ask here.

That place in OhClamHoma that had the Shell clam molds, and Crowns, i think it was Petroleum Artifacts. Also made milk glass globes i think they closed down. But , they made a repro clockface AND a shorter countertop one that dispensed drinks I think refrigerated. They would sell them to bars or restaurant chains, you could get them with your logos on milkglass globes on the dispensers. They may have some internals left if you could track them down, probably be real easy to put them in a pump.
They also made repo Flying horse metal ashtrays, wonder how many of them are being sold as originals now??
