Hey Guys.. I've got a real nice GB 96C, pretty straight pump, a few small dents on the lower side skins but nothing that couldn't be easily fixed. NO ROT, no real rust at all actually. Nice doors, good faces, good glass in both doors. All trim is there and no pitting. Electrical works and it lights up. Computer turns freely. Has a repop Diesel Chief globe on a capco body. Comes with a pretty decent nozzle. One of the coolest things about it is it still has the embossed metal tags attached to the frame that say something like "This fuel pump, the storage tank and any attachments are property of the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey" $485, can deliver to Mason Dixon Gas for free.

Just for giggles, any idea what shipping to Georgia would run? Zip is 31089. About the pump, does it have all the internal mechanisms?

Doc, you can fit it in the PT, just strap the trunk door down! Quirk, I'd say maybe $300-400? I've never really shipped pumps before but that's what I've seen people paying. There's a great site called uship that lets people bid on your job, you could probably get someone to do it for less there to fill a load or soemthing. It does have the guts.

Thanks for the tip Chris, I'll look into that. What are the weight and dimensions of the pump, and are the internals in working order... to the best of your knowledge?

To me it looks like they're in working order, but I really don't have a way of testing. I do know it was used not all that long ago. I wouldn't be surprised though if you need to replace some gaskets and belts.
It's about 6 feet tall, 16 or so inches deep and about the same wide. If I had to guess I'd say it weighs 350-400 pounds.

Chris, I just signed up with that uship, to see what it might cost to ship. If they give me a decent price, maybe we could do a deal?

Ouch! $839 estimated shipping? Sorry, but that is way out of my budget now. Too bad though, that is a nice pump, and one I'd be proud to own.

You think they would be much less than the uship folks?

$839 to ship a pump is robbery. Others can probably give a better idea of what to do though as I've never shipped a pump.
