$839 was just an average. The prices went from $6something to just over $1k. For that kind of money, I'd drive out to Atlanta, and buy a restored pump from Bob's Garage. Nothing at all against you, or your pump. Your's isn't "fully restored", but it is more or less complete, and a really nice looking pump. It's the whole "you live a gazillion miles away, and it would cost a bazillion dollars to ship" thing smile

Yeah, I'm not really dying to ship this pump, but if you wanted it I would do what I can to help you out. Usually $300-400 is what I see quoted though from people shipping pumps on the same coast.

Yeah, I'm sure crating it up and taking it to ship is a bunch of fun too. Shame you weren't closer, I'd consider driving a state or two to get it.

Big Blazer, thank you for the offer. It's still almost 400 hundred miles to where you are, but I'll think it over and see if we could swing it or not. When is this Mason Dixon event?

Try Forward Air. I have shipped a couple of pumps before myself. Usually around 200 to 300 hundred dollars with them.

Wayne Story usually goes to both shows, he's a member here but don't know how often he checks this place out. He's a friend of mine though, give him a ring 804-731-7812, he might be interested in the gas money offer.
