Hey Guys, 1 of our fellow collectors/vendors is down BUT not out!
Wes was rushed into surgery this morning for a detached retina!!!!!!!!
They must remove his eye to repair a fully detached retina, then place eye back. He'll be strapped face down for 2 full weeks and can't move!
I know about everyone out there has either bought or sold him something or asked his professional advise about toys or toy gas stations.
Just thought I'd show a little respect for Wes as he taught me everything I know!
Please No phone calls...
I will be doing Iowa Gas for Wes and will keep everyone posted on his outcome!
THANKS

Yow, that sounds a little scary. Our prayers will be with Wes for a full recovery. Seems like Wes has been at every midwest petro swap meet that I have attended. Always soft-spoken and knowledgeable, he is the "go to guy" for toy gas stations and toy vehicles.
Thanks for letting us know, Tom.

Hate to hear that about Wes. He was a vendor for several years at Indiana Gas Show. Always enjoyed talking with him, full of stories and lots of laughs. Hope all goes well. Its going to be hard for him to stay down like that. Hope he gets along good and back on his feet and goin again to all the shows. Good Luck Wes. Dave and Linda Terre Haute, In.
