Yes RB102 was the part# and it sounds like I've got the gasket installed correctly ( thick on glass, thin on metal ) Do you put the gasket on the glass then install the whole thing or on the sheet metal then work the glass in place? I tried the later but could not keep the gasket on the door metal.
If you ordered a kit for the right short 39 you should have gotten RB102 (I think).Look at the rubber gasket;you should have a thick side that will fit the glass and a thin side that will fit the sheet metal.Cut the gasket to fit leaving about 1/8"to stretch into place.Start on one corner and work your way around with the sheet metal side in place and working the glass side with your fingers.
I've done lots of them like that without any problems except blisters!!
