To show you guys how much I pay attention to details, I just noticed a "registered" date under my name when a post is made(October 2000). I went to the "Collectors" section and I was registered there in Feb. 1999. Back then, it wasn't broken into "states".
Anyway, I can't remember Oldgas without a Shoptalk, although I know there was a time. So....Jim Potts, could you give a brief history on this site? Nothing really detailed or time consuming for you. Maybe how the idea came to you and when the site was started. When did the most popular section (Shoptalk) appear?
Maybe the new members would like to know a little of the history. And for those of us that have lost their memory! LOL Thanks.
