so any of the Kansas fellas on old gas no em? "the Kansas guys" so what did you guys think? you know i started to wonder if the fellow in Kansas was a old-gas member with all them oil cans,what a display that guy had!some one on old gas mentioned the "love-hate" relationship with the show,i think thats what i have as well!what a good lead that was,all three spots they hit in Kansas was great collections to look at!me and my family watch the show back doored by pawn stars,when its all over ,the garage just calls me,lol i have to go piddle for a while,then i get yelled at because its almost 12am and im in the garage!lol we set our dvr for them two shows! oh and can't forget hd television thats all my tv stays on,let me re-phrase that,"if it were up to me,thats all my t.v would stay on" lol

Someone here has to know the guy with the cans. You don't find those polly cans in kansas. There were a lot of cans from all over the country that you don't see all the time. I thought the shell sign purchase was funny. Buying half of a 6 foot shell sign, it was like they did not know it was only half...
My wife enjoys watching the show as she thinks its what I used to do when I actually had free time and would take road trips looking for this stuff.

in the first bit of the show the 2 guys were bitchin that they needed to buy rare, "one of a kind items"!!! they just had to pass on the common stuff.....and then they buy %30 of a shell sign and a dirt common RC thermometer. my wife even knew that sign wasnt complete. if your in it to make money, why do you care what you buy????

I cant quite figure the part where it shows the picked price and the value. Where and who is responsible fot the value prices. Well sign me up for those price deals, cause I will buy all day at those figures. They are like two, three, four times cheaper then the signs and such showing up here on petroliana. Whats going on here?

I was very impressed with the guys cans. I also counted 4 red crown gas signs in as many locations! The shell sign did make me laugh!

The last three "picks" on the show last night were all in FT. Scott, Kansas.
Johnnie Walker had an auction approx. 3 months ago (he had the late 30's Pontiac and the boot trade sign). Jr. Evans had the qts and various signs....he has alot of stuff but condition is questionable. I didn't know the other guy but gathered he would be from the Ft. Scott area also.
Collect small Oklahoma Oil Co.'s 1920's-1940's. Barnsdall, Cushing, Eason, Marland, etc.

One other note for those curious enough, concerining the Walker Auction. Lundberg was the auction company and it was March 20th. Also was on proxibid.

I'M STILL WORKING ON THE EPISODE FROM 2 WEEKS AGO WHEN FRITZ GOT A BUNCH OF CHEAP FEED, DAIRY AND OIL SIGNS. LOL!
