I noticed in Dick Bennett's post on Chris Holt( http://www.oldgas.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=201843#Post201843 ), he has a picture with Chris showing a sign and other items. In the back ground are scaled models of some pumps. Is there any place I can get a scaled down pump of a Fry 117? I have mostly seen the Wayne's in these models.
Thanks

The larger pumps are liquor dispensers & are made of plastic. I have never seen anything other than those made.
I think it was ESSO made a Mae West & G&B pumps as 100,000 gal dealer bonuses [approx. 8-10" tall].

Thanks Guys,
I was hoping for some larger scale models to paint and help determine the paint scheme and brand I wanted on the Fry 117 I am restoring. I had a friend do this with a 1934 Ford. His wife told him the colors she wanted her car painted and he didn't like the idea. So, he went out and bought a model and painted it her colors. It turned out great, so now the full size car is in HER colors.

Aggie

I'm new to the forum. I build -among others- scale models.
You could try out 3D modeling (google sketch up for example)
I can make a model for you if you want... 3D or real...

-= Playing with the fine line between reality and insane scale model building =-
