I have a A.O. Smith 483 48" pump that I was thinking about putting a globe on. I have seen these with globes but was wondering if they had globes on them when they were in use? Mine doesn't have a place for a globe so I guess I would just have to set it on top and hope it didn't fall off. I almost think it looks to short for a 15" globe. Any ideas? Mine was made in 1963.
