I'm not sure if I will be restoring a pump this year, but if I do I was thinking about restoring one of my 50's era pumps with the roadrunner gas globe/logo. My concern is that I no longer see any suppliers selling the roadrunner globe or pump sticker. Why is this? Also what is the history of roadrunner gas? Where were they out of etc.?? Thanks for any replies.

The only roadrunner gas I remember is the one Truman Arnold owned back in the 80's and sold to Diamond Shamrock. Most stores were in Arkansas and Texas I believe.

Thanks for the info, It seems to me that Vic's Place used to sell the repro capco globes with a roadrunner on them. Maybe Seth will read this and let me know if he can still get/sell them.

Here is a place you can check with on the Roadrunner globe. Click on the link and scroll down until you see Roadrunner.

Good luck.

Mac.
