Your pump was more likely produced for a trucking, bus,or construction co. to use in their own yard to fuel their own equipment. Those companies wouldn't have any need for a computing pump, but knowing how many gallons they were using was essential.Very few pumps were bought new by farmers.Ask every farmer you know if they ever bought a new pump. Almost all of them will say they haven't. The exceptions would be gasboy pumps, and the tank mounted pumps they use now.
