Not my picture I just happened uppon it on ebay. Thought it was cool. Hope they saved the globes & pumps. I'd kill for everything in that picture! Looks brand new like they were just put it in then got a deluge of rain.

I linked to the ebay auction because thats where the picture came from.

Well you know I always wondered what was fastened to the holes in the bottom of the sign. Thanks for posting the picture. John

Nice Socony Shield!!!! Thats the exact one! I am sure my search will be a long one frown
These are the only two large ones I have been able to find locally:

I got this for a great price its not in the best condition- but I saw it and bought it.

I also picked up a Socony Uniform Quality pump plate this past week which is a nice socony item.

I HAVE THE LARGE 6' SOCONY SHEILD. IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST FOUND UNDER GRANDPA'S OLD PRIVY/OUTHOUSE A FEW YEARS AGO. SOME OF YOU MIGHT REMEMBER THAT THREAD!

THANKS BONJIMMI!

That must have been a new installation when the heavy rains came because that won't happen if the tanks have fuel in them.

Cool picture.
