Heres another thing about my disease....This is true...I dont like nature..sorry nature lovers it just aint for me. i can appreciate Gods handy work just fine but I am sure more comfortable looking at it on tv or postcard than I am trudging through it, But i am a Family man and on occassion I have to put on a smiling face and go hiking or camping with the kids. This keeps peace at home with the Wife and my Kids think its funny...they got ole fat Dad out in Nature..LOL. Well..the only thing that keeps me going in through these times of inconvenience is looking and scouring the grounds for cans , signs and dumped pumps. Now I must be really sick when I am in the Beautiful great outdoors and alls I can think about is finding a forgotten service station treasure. I know I am sick ...but if I am wrong..i dont want to be right...LOL

oh PS...Local Frank..i like your nature just fine because it has alot of cool stuff around...LOL

Hubba, I could not have said it better!!!!!!!
Wonder what happens if we both see the same pump at the same time? Who gets it?
This happened to me once while I was out garage saleing with a friend we pull up to a garage sale in a ritzy neiborhood and both spoted a AAA Motel oval porcelain sign near mint I was on the passagers side so I dove out first and acted like I was not to interested in the sign of course.. Had a 10.00 price tag on it, could not get the money out of my pocket fast enough. Sign looks great hanging on our office wall.

My buddy Rick and I were headed up to another friends place to buy/sell/trade some quarts. I was drivin along pretty quick, spotted something in the ditch, hit the brakes. Went back to see what it was. Rick kept asking what was wrong. I wasn't about to tell him that I spotted a 5 gallon Sinclair can in the ditch because he was ridin shotgun and woulda had the jump on me. I got out to claim my prize. Was it an oil can? Maybe a grease bucket? Nope, it was a lard bucket from a company that used the same shade of green as Sinclair. What a let down!

We were at a big outdoor flea market with some friends. We were about half way down the first aisle when Rick said let's concentrate on the stuff on the right side of the aisle. I said OK.....as I saw Rick on the run to the left! He swears he didn't see the yellow Kendall 4 or5qt in mint condition for 2 bucks until after he said lets concentrate on the stuff on the right!

Glad I'm not the only one to mistake a 'fridge for a pump!! Beers don't taste near as good when they've been sitting in a pump!!!
