Dear all,

I found this pump today while on the road. What do you think of it (Brand?, Year?)

Also what would be a fair price on something like this.

Thank you,

Daniel

STRANGE LOOKING GLOBE. LOOKS LIKE A FLATS LENS WITH AN OLD WATER APPLIED DECAL ALL CRACKING UP. GLOBE LOOKS LIKE A SEARCHLIGHT TURNED INTO A GLOBE.

I'M SURE SOMEONE WILL CHIME IN ON BRAND/DATE/VALUE.

I've never kept up on Canadian pumps.
There might be some value in the headlight [globe body], depending on what car it's off of.

If the glass is good...$1000.00 easy. it looks like clearvision, which also has the original Nozzle and holder. I have seen the nozzles bring $150.00 before.

looks like a sse clear vision 550 . it's missing part of the tank to car lever(centre) missing the gallon meter(part under the hose out-let) does NOT have the orignal nozzle. cylinder does not look orignal, orignals had gallon markings on 2 sides and the double pumps had marking on 3 sides. It does have the orignal price box, good price around 1000.00 and 1200.00 if it had orignal blue cylinder

look real close at the cylinder, it's out of a double,, you don't see three sets of numbers because it's not turned around,,there is three sets there alright,,front, back and left side..

Thank you all for the information. I will keep you posted if the deal works. If it does, I guess my next challenge will be to move it home.

Btw, you can find the large size detailed pictures in the links below.

the nozzle hanger back plate has been cobbled up look at the hood part it is not origional at all something was welded on there. The bezel around the hose outlet is upside down the outlet should come out the round part and the square hole is for the meter that is missing. The to tank to car area on the pump is a new one on me it looks similar to a meter bezel on a double 700 clear vision. All said if you get that for 1000 I would say that is a great deal.

Does anyone have some general information on White Rose oil? This might sound stupid, but I could not find much online or on wiki frown

Thanks

I agree wes It is still a good pump although I would check the cylinder out as it looks like it has a vertical crack? As for all the parts can be bought I agree with that too as I make all of the clearvision parts.

that cylinder isn't out of a double. a double had 3 markings at every 1/3. this cylinder has marking at every 1/4. look at the notches on the casting right below the cylinder, every 90 degrees you just can't see the back of the pump
