EVERY ONCE IN A BLUE, I STILL SEE CANS LIKE THAT....IN AN OLD ALLEYWAY STILL HOLDING IT'S OWN. I KINDA LUST FOR ONE, BUT I'LL BET THEY'RE HEAVY EVEN EMPTY.

That is a great can. Better then those cheap rubber ones. I still see cans (metal ones for sale) NEW. That one is cool.

...I've got one exactly like the one in the old ad, but it's not for sale... ...I've never seen another one, I got it because I figured it would fit in an old station display...it's VERY heavy, not at all like modern day trash cans... ...Witt invented the 'modern' trash can in 1899, the patent drawings are online...the lid has the patent number and date embossed on top...the company is still in business: http://www.witt.com/About-Witt/
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
