I'm guessing these are from the 1950's. The box includes 4 metal drink mixers. These were giveaways. The box is kind of frail. Overall good condition. $8.50 includes shipping first class mail.

I'm sold out for now. I may have a chance to get more of these but I'm not sure when.

I don't know if its the best thing to do "I'll buy all you have" why not let others have a chance at them as well?

Thats what I thought too, specially when others want some.

Let me get this straight. Someone offers item(s) for sale, a member, any member, likes and wants the items. So they say I will buy all you have.

Later because you weren't as fast seeing the offer, some how you have the right to complain and make comments about someone else's sale, because others want some? Specifically you?

What if there had been 1 item and after the offer to buy it, you see the post and decide you would like it. Should the buyer not be allowed to purchase the item, because you or someone else didn't get a chance at it also?

What a bunch of BS!

Or a seller lists an item for sale, there is interest in the first. So the seller mentions he has more and a couple more people buy one or two. Is a buyer not allowed to say I will take all that you have left, because someone else might see the thread later and want one?

Since when should the members have the power to dictate how many items one can buy here on OLDGAS? Especially when using the very poor reason that others might want that item too?

If someone buys all of them, I would contact that person and ask if you could get one from them? I've done that at auctions. If a person buys a lot of one thing, I've went up to them after the auction and bought from them. Not trying to get in the middle of anything. I try and stay neutral, ha, ha.

I think its sellers preference in how many he sells and to who. I think if the seller AGREES to sell you one or a few, I would expect them to honor it.
But if the same seller gets a lot of interest emails and one of those wants to buy all of them, as a seller it would make sense to me to sell them all to one person. One stop shopping.

Same thing would apply when buying.
Say I'm interested in one or two signs of a collection or one of a bunch of duplicate items:
Then another guy comes along and offers to buy all of them.
I'm going to assume the seller isnt selling anything to me and all to him. Unless he committed to selling one of them to me. Or he just calls back and says sorry they are all sold(which has happened and NOT with any oldgasser)

I have contacted sellers as well for extras they have and bought as many as I could.
(And yes Bob Richards I would have asked for a volume discount!! lol)

Once again sellers preference on what they do with their stuff.
