Ya know, when I occassionally ask questions on this forum, I always expect to get an answer because of all the answers I've observed while lurking. And then, when I actually get the reply, I'm blown away nonetheless. Not just on this post, but on many, the detail of knowledge out there is pretty damnd awesome.

So that I'm clear, the CROWN sign with wings is from the Baltimore outfit, while the CROWN globe is from the same Standard Oil of Kentucky that used the crown shaped globes in the various colors/fuel grades... right?

If so, then would these 13-1/2" lenses have been used at the same time as the shaped globes or before or after?

The ROYAL CROWN and the CROWN are identical in font, color and proportions, except of course one also has the word ROYAL.

I could email some pictures to someone who can post it... I've yet not figured out how to create a host server.

Answers? Any offers to post the pics?
