Oldgassers!! We haven't done anything like this in awhile, I don't think. OK, I came across this ad in a volume of a publication that I bought at an auction. I thought it was interesting and we have a lot of clever folks on here so I thought we would have a little guessing game. I asked Jim and he gave me the OK. Rules: Everyone gets one (1) guess. If no gets it the first day, everyone will then get to guess again when I post that the guessing can begin again. I know this may have appeared in other years, but you have to guess the date of the publication that I found this in. After the contest I will post a pic of the publication and the year. The first one to post the correct date wins. All you have to do is post a date. If two people happen to enter the same date, the first post wins. That simple. The winning guesser will have shipped to them FREE of charge the two NOS never filled Sears Oil Company cans from Rome NY. I know they are somewhat common (these probably have a retail value of $5), but they are free and it's for fun. I own the publication the ad is in. I did not get it off the net or anything like that. The photo is the actual ad in the publication. I blocked off the surrounding info to try and make this a little challenging. With a little net sleuthing you may be able to find a little about this. Knowing the knowledge of the oldgassers on here this will probably be over in a couple minutes!!  I am not going to be on here monitoring this 24/7, but I will be checking on it frequently, so don't worry if I don't respond right away. Hey, let's have some fun......
