I agree/disagree the string method works good on vw's and tokheims but on bennetts you want to warm the rubber slightly about 10 secs in the microwave or lay it in the sun for a few minutes. You then install the rubber on the glass and cut to fit the perimeter. You then press the glass to the pump door opening and pull on the lip that is on the opposite side slowly, which does the same thing as a string but is easier. After the rubber is firmly set into the opening you lock the channel using your fingers and a #1 flat screwdriver. I have done a hundred of these or so.
