I almost always use to restore pumps when I found them,but I find myself burnt out on the restored pumps latley.I perfer lookin at my original pumps more than my restored ones,I dig the patina and their story.Like Mick said they have charater,once their restored their never original again.I look for or perfer ones that have factory paint schemes (hard to find now days)If they have ten coats of the wrong color then I would restore or sell them off,sometimes their so rough or ugly that I will restore those ones.As far as favorites go I always liked all the script tops and the A-38 or National 62.I'm currently doing a 62 in Flying A.I also like the clockface pumps.
