I think this sign burned regards all the paint bubbles
you're probably right. what's interesting, though is the splotch of blank ink to the left of "US". It's as though they repainted it, using a roller,
after the sheeting had already bubbled up.
that's Okla DOT getting as much mileage out of their signs as they could!
