Chris...you may have something here...the engineers at work are saying the same as you that the hydrogen thing they talk about (the govt.) is a lot of smoke and mirrors. They told me that they want to make the hydrogen out of NATURAL GAS duh where is the benefit?? One of the fuel system guys also said that the shortages are all political...sounds like 1974 again. Anyway, when I started drivin' in 1970 gas at the local Mobil was around 39 cents if I remember correctly. I ran out of gas one night in my '67 Ford convt. and it cost just over $9.00 to fill the 24 gallon tank...I was 'shocked'!!
