I see tonite that most of the successful bidders were on-site. I was away today and had someone bidding for me with my user ID, etc.
They told me that several of the items that I had left instructions for them to buy, for me, sold to someone on-site. They said that they would bid but on two items the bid was accepted but went to a person at the auction site, and on two other items the bid didn't go thru at all.
Man, this gets to be a discouraging thing and the plains of Illinois hear a few 'discouraging words'. The guy bidding for me has a 6 month old HP computer was on DSL, and he has a Master's degree in computer science so he knows computers a lot better than most!!. He said 'Well, I guarantee the trouble wasn't on MY end.'
Sure hope this thing gets straightened out. I'm about ready to say the heck with it all and forget about auctions.......

I have a "slower than molasses" dial-up internet connection out here in the country and had no trouble placing bids or following the auction progress. My only problem was that on-site bidders were willing to pay TWICE as much for the items I was interested in. That's life in a free market economy, I guess.

It's weird because at other times I have gotten thru O.K. but my buddy had trouble Sat.?????
Oh well,,,,and yes you are correct Pegasus on the on-site bidders bidding kind of high because several items I left directions for to bid on DID go for almost double......
Guess it will always be this way.
